Bank Account in Vanuatu

Vanuatu Bank Account Package - USD2, 000 (Say United States Dollars Two Thousand Only)

Vanuatu, officially The Republic of Vanuatu, is an Oceanian Island State located in the South Pacific Region about 1,750 kilometers to the east of northern Australia. It has a population of 270,000 strong with political and economic stability. English is widely spoken and the official languages are English, French and Bislama (a popular local language).

The package includes a personal bank account with Alpen Baruch Bank Limited (hereinafter referred to as "the Bank"). A set of personal account opening form and a list of documentary requirements will be given to the account applicant for completion. Upon completion, our designated notary public will verify the account applicant's documents for the Bank to see if they are eligible for account opening applications. The package of personal account gives an exceptional level of privacy based on Vanuatu's International Company Law operating under Vanuatu's International Banking License.

Also, the Bank offers a package of non-personal account, such as, for company of sole proprietorship, partnership or limited liability. In this connection, our onshore advisor will conduct special due diligence on non-personal account package.

Banking Privacy and Tax Treaties

Banking privacy in Vanuatu is strictly enforced by law. Vanuatu authorities have no direct access to bank information. Court order is required by the authorities including foreign regulatory authorities to get access to bank information.

The bank's customers and shareholders are safeguarded by the International Banking Law, whereupon the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu imposes financial obligations and restrictions on the licensee bank and carries out compliance inspection before and after the Bank is allowed to conduct banking business.

Recently, the Government of Vanuatu has signed Tax Information Exchange Agreements (TIEA) with the following countries:
